Feyenoord's Arne Slot leads race for Liverpool manager job — multiple sources

Paul Joyce has broken the news that Arne Slot is the new favourite to succeed Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool at the end of the season.

The Dutchman is currently in charge of Feyenoord. He reached the Europa Conference League final in his first year at the club in 2022, and won the team's first Eredivisie title in six years the following season.

Joyce adds that the decision has not been made yet and Liverpool continue assessing other candidates. Ruben Amorim and Ruben De Zerbi remain in the race, the Guardian claim.

The Telegraph and the Guardian note that the Reds appreciate Slot's ability to instill an aggressive style of football 'on a modest budget'.
