'Let's talk on Monday': Klopp pessimistic about Liverpool's PL title hopes

Jurgen Klopp was asked if he has any lingering hope that Liverpool can win the Premier League title over Man City or Arsenal.

He simply answered: "It's not that we cannot win it, It's not number one every morning on the priority list. We can all read the table.

"We all know the situation. Man City has to lose three games and Arsenal has to lose two. Do we expect them to lose? City has three games. Difficult to see that. Arsenal, two games. Difficult. They both play before us. Let's talk on Monday if they both lose."

At this point, Liverpool need a miracle to clinch the 2023/24 Premier League title. The Reds can get to a maximum of 84 points by winning their last two matches - a feat that both Man City and Arsenal can both surpass by winning their matches at the weekend.

For the time being, the Reds' primary objective will be to win their last two matches and give Klopp the best possible send-off.
