'He's a madman who lives and breathes football': Fabio Carvalho names Man United legend as his inspiration

Liverpool loanee Fabio Carvalho has recently stated his ambition to become the best in the world.

The midfielder on loan to Hull City was asked who he takes inspiration from to pursue the highest levels of football.

“There’s only one, isn’t there? Cristiano Ronaldo! The way he works is incredible," he told A Bola.

“I know those who played with him at Manchester United and, even at his age, he continues to work the same way and take care of himself.

“Everyone tells me he’s a madman who lives and breathes football. He always wants to be the best, that’s why he reached the level he did.”
