Despite the initial fears that the 32-year-old would have to retire amid the serious injury, Neymar plans to start featuring for Al Hilal again in late April or May.

Neymar was one step from re-joining Barcelona last summer, but the Catalans couldn't afford him at the time, so he went to Saudi Arabia in a €90m switch instead.

Al Hilal have beaten Al Ittihad 4-1 in the final, former Barca winger Malcom scoring twice.
