Cubarsi signs three-year Barcelona contract

Pau Cubarsi has signed a new contract with Barcelona, the club has confirmed.

The new deal runs out in 2027. The release clause has been set at €500m.

The young centre-back has broken into the first team earlier this season following injuries to senior players. He's made 18 appearances for the first team so far, impressing with his composure, passing range and tackling skills.

The Spaniard's previous deal expired in 2026. The club wanted to give him a better contract to reflect on his improved standing in the squad.
