Liverpool keen on Bundesliga attacker with 10 goals & assists in 13 games (reliability: 4 stars)

German journalist Florian Plettenberg says that Liverpool are among several teams keen on signing Maximilian Beier.

Plettenberg tweeted: "Maximilian Beier, 6 goals and 4 assists this Bundesliga season for Hoffenheim [in 13 games].

"Release clause of around €30m in summer. Many top clubs from England inquired about him and are informed about contractual details. Liverpool is interested.

"Current trend: The 21 y/o striker will leave Hoffenheim in [the] summer!"

Beier plays anywhere across the front line, with no. 9 as his most natural position. 10 goals and assists in 13 games sounds like really good numbers.

However, the biggest question is how Liverpool would fit him into the current squad, considering there are plenty of offensive options.
