Harry Kane sets Champions League record surpassing David Beckham and Steven Gerrard

In the thrilling semi-final match between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, Harry Kane set a new record for English players in the Champions League.

His goal helped Bayern secure a 2-2 draw against Real Madrid. Kane calmly converted a penalty after Jamal Musiala was fouled in the box.

Kane sent Andriy Lunin the wrong way, scoring his eighth goal of the season in the Champions League and his 43rd across all competitions.

With this goal, he now has 11 goal involvements in this season's campaign, surpassing legends like David Beckham and Steven Gerrard.

Beckham had 10 goal involvements in the 1998/99 season, and Gerrard matched that in 2007/08. But Kane's impressive performance has put him at the top, with eight goals and three assists to his name.
