Vasco da Gama and Betfair have signed a sponsorship deal that will run until 31 December 2025.
The financial terms remain undisclosed but both sides claim the deal is the biggest in the club's 108-year-long history. According to reports, after the end of 2025, the sponsorship could be renewed for two more seasons.
As per the terms of the deal, Vasco’s men’s team will be wearing the Betfair logo on the front of their kits while the women's team will have it on the shoulderblade of their shirts.
The new kit was first presented in Vasco's home 2-1 win against Vitória on 12 May.
Besides promoting Betfair via the demonstration of the sportsbook's logo, the deal implies intense cooperation between Vasco da Gama and Betfair, with unique experiences, e.g. VIP tickets or training centre tours, for Vasco's fans.
"There were weeks of intense work to get the best for our club with a huge and consolidated company," Lúcio Barbosa, Vasco's CEO, told the media. "We still have challenges ahead, but our commitment to working seriously and hard for Vasco continues."
