Inter Milan won the Serie A title on Monday by defeating AC Milan 2-1, making it impossible for any other team to catch up. Goals from Francesco Acerbi and Marcus Thuram helped Inter build a 17-point lead over Milan, guaranteeing their 20th league championship with five games still to play.
After the game one of the match heroes, Marcus Thuram revealed that Thierry Henry was the man who helped him a lot on his footballing journey.
Thuram said: "He's like my best uncle; he's the uncle that's here for me, to help me in good moments and bad moments. He always tells me the truth. Today, I'd like to take the time to thank him because if I'm here, it's because of him."
This season Marcus Thuram scored 14 goals and made 12 assists across 42 appearances for Inter Milan.
