After the game against PSG ended, Lyon players all lined up for a bollocking by their own fans, led by a guy with a loudspeaker.
He yelled: "That's for you, the squad of Olympique Lyonnais 2023-24. This message is for you, for some of you I shall say.
"The message is clear. If there are leaders in this dressing room, they have no right to be silent. YOU wear the shirt of Lyon, YOU.
"No use talking behind the backs. If you want to tell us something, no problem, we can discuss it later.
"Now, YOU listen to US. You are those who wear this jersey, worn by people who glorified it in the past. You have no right to spoil it!"
Years of bad management are clearly catching up with seven-time French winners.
They missed out on Europe in the past two seasons and relegation is looming for them this year. If you think it's not possible, think again: great clubs like Saint-Etienne or Bordeaux are currently struggling in Ligue 2 and there are no parachute payments in France to soften the blow.
