Perhaps Fermin Lopez is underrated by neutrals and some Cules too, but the player deserves his flowers after scoring 8 goals in 37 games following his brilliant header against Valencia.
"It's hard to imagine that I've scored 8 goals with the first team," Fermin said after the game.
"I worked hard to get here. I thank the manager and the team for their trust. I hope to continue playing this way," the Spaniard added.
Only four players have scored more goals than Ferran this season — Raphinha (9), Joao Felix (10), Ferran Torres (11) and Robert Lewandowski (23).
It shows that Fermin has silently been having a wonderful first full season at Barca. Unfortunately, it will be overshadowed by the problems the club have endured this term, like losing out on La Liga and the Champions League.
