You’re right. The problem I see here isn’t because he spoke the truth, but because he fed the hungry media something to feast on. This can have a negative effect on the players performance for subsequent games. He could scold him privately, I’m sure Gündogan status is just as important as the captain in the dressing room so if he has an opinion he definitely will be listened to but you don’t put it on the media so they can come for your teammate. That’s just leaving him out to dry.

Somebody has to say something even if it hurts them. The truth is his sliggish red card cost us a lot. It cost us the whole season plus Club World Cup. In Barca, players want to be comfortable without being blamed for there stupid actions. In fact, Gundogan should be our captain next season. We need a vocal captain like him to put some sense into these players who look like they came to retire in our club.

Make no mistake brother, even Man City won't press PSG too much if they go a man down. You can't do that against a team with two wingers like theirs' with blistering pace. Besides we had about two decent chances to score and possibly go through even after the red card. so, we did our best.
