Cristiano Ronaldo suffers another portion of Messi chants after being shown red card for violent conduct

Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi may be physically separated by over 11,000 kilometres, but the Argentine manages to trigger the Portuguese regardless. All thank Saudi fans.

In the most recent clash between Al Nassr and Al Hilal, Ronaldo indulged himself with a bit of Wrestlemania: he got mad at an opponent blocking his path and simply threw him off his way, barely resisting from punching the guy.

The referee sent Ronaldo off, which prompted another angry reaction from the Portuguese as he nearly punched the ref on the spot.

And just as Cristiano was sarcastically clapping the ref, the Messi chanting began in the stands:

Ronaldo is known for being triggered by fans chanting Messi's name. On another occasion, he made an obscene gesture, and that wasn't the first time the Portuguese fell for this trick.

Curiously, while Ronaldo does get fidgety when he hears Messi's name, the Argentine just... couldn't care less.

"No, he's not that type of guy," said Gerard Pique of Messi. "He's very team-focused even though he was getting front-page headlines in the newspapers. Individual awards wasn't something of a priority to him."

Well, maybe that's because one gets violent when he hears his rival's name and the other responds with a goal.
