Are Barca really considering bringing Neymar back? 

Neymar Junior has been linked with Barcelona almost incessantly over the last five years, especially since Joan Laporta returned to the presidency.

Last summer Laporta and Deco confirmed that they discussed a deal for Neymar. The 32-year-old, who keeps in regular contact with Laporta, is said to be keen to return to the Blaugrana in the summer of 2025, at the end of his Al-Hilal contract in Saudi Arabia.

However, Fabrizio Romano claims that Barca are not even considering his return. Furthermore, Romano notes that the Catalan side is looking for a left winger, but Neymar’s name is not on the table at the moment. 

Neymar has been out since October after suffering a cruciate ligament tear, and perhaps the time away from the pitch might be making him reflect on his career.
