Pau Cubarsi new deal 'imminent'

Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto, a top-tier source, insists that Barcelona have struck an agreement with Pau Cubarsi over a new deal.

"It is not yet 100% decided whether Pau Cubarsí's renewal with Barça will be for 5 or 6 years but the negotiation is almost sealed and it is a matter of time," he tweeted.

"Everything is going at a good pace and the next meetings will be important to close everything. The extension is imminent, as reported by [journalist] Ivan San Antonio."

The defender has broken into the Catalans' first team this season. He's managed 18 first-team appearances so far this campaign.
