Massimiliano Allegri has been offered to Barcelona by his agents, per Mundo Deportivo.
Allegri has been stupendously successful in the Italian Serie A where he has won the league six times. Although his Juventus side finished 7th and watched Napoli win the league title last season after getting docked 10 points.
The Italian gaffer still boasts 14 domestic trophies in his career and has a chance to win his seventh league title this term, only if Inter are manage to slip up.
Albeit, Allegri has reportedly been rejected by Barca because his style of play doesn't fit the club's 'DNA'. Barca doesn't see him as a manager who plays free-flowing, seductive tiki-taka football.
When it comes to experience, Allegri is easily the top choice compared to other managers being linked to replace Xavi, like Roberto De Zerbi and Imanol Alguacil.
Allegri is now tipped to continue at Juventus until the summer of 2025 when his contract is due to expire.
Meanwhile, some sources say Barca are still partly hoping that Xavi will stay as they're beginning to lose interest in Hansi Flick and even De Zerbi.
