Barcelona in search for 'new Araujo', add one player to shortlist (reliability: 4 stars)

Barcelona are on the lookout for 'new Ronald Araujo', reports Diario Sport's Alfredo Martinez.

The Catalans have been monitoring Juventus defender Radu Dragusin. The 21-year-old stands out for his impressive height (1.91m), set-piece threat and no-nonsense style of play in defence.

Dragusin is currently on loan at Genoa. The player's release clause stands at €30m. There are some other big European clubs interested in the young centre-back.

Barca may eventually decide to sell one of their centre-backs if there's a good offer. Unless they promote one of the Barca Atletic defenders, they would want to make a new signing next summer.
