'Saudi league might be better than Ligue 1': Neymar

When asked how the quality differs between Ligue 1 and the Saudi Pro League, Neymar replied:

"I guarantee you the football is the same. The ball is round, there are goal posts, too.

"And with all the names in the Saudi League today, it might be better than the French league."

While some fans remain sceptical about the level of the Middle Eastern league, there is some truth in Al Hilal's latest signing's words.

It will certainly become more competitive after so many star moves this past summer.
