Counted: how much bigger the goal needed to be for Mudryk's shot to go in

In the 38th minute of today's game against Aston VIlla, Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk took an absolutely horrific shot. The Ukrainian probably aimed for the top corner of Martinez's goal, but instead he barely missed the corner flag.

We decided to count how much bigger the goal needed to be for Mudryk's shot to actually go in.

Knowing that the standart football goal is 7.32m, and the width of the pitch at Villa Park is 68 meters, we can confidently say that the goal needed to be at least 9.3 times bigger for Mudryk to score with that shot - and the ball would still probably hit the post before going in.
