Pep Guardiola confirms Erling Haaland a doubt for Chelsea clash

Erling Haaland was unexpectedly subbed off ahead of extra time in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid.

Afterwards, Pep Guardiola admitted that the Norwegian picked up a small issue and could be a doubt for the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.

"We will see," Pep said on Haaland's availability for Saturday.

"It was a tough game, a lot of action, high intensity for both sides. Erling felt something, a muscular issue. That's why he told me he could not continue.

"The [doctor] said he had a little bit of niggles, a little problem, we will see how his evolution is in the next hours."

Haaland may not have been at his best against Real Madrid, but he is still the best goalscorer in the Premier League with 20 goals.
