Chelsea interested in Arsenal striker, he scored 22 goals last season - Sky Sports

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea are interested in Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun.

The 22-year-old spent the last season on loan at Ligue 1 side Reims where he scored 22 goals in 38 games.

At Arsenal, however, he remains behind Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah in the pecking order.

Chelsea are yet to make a formal bid for the United States international who is reportedly valued at ₤50m.

Monaco are working on a deal to sign Balogun. Inter were also interested in the striker but have stepped away from the race.
