Real Madrid have given Kylian Mbappe the freedom to choose when to announce his move to Madrid, per Marca.
This comes amidst some turbulent times for Mbappe at PSG where he has seen his role in the team reduced. Last weekend, Mbappe vented his frustrations as he was again subbed off early while 10-man PSG searched for a winning goal against Marseille.
Stats have shown Mbappe rarely plays 90 minutes at PSG. He's only done that once in the last seven games, bar their French Cup win against Rennes.
It's almost an open secret that Mbappe will play for Real Madrid next season, but the official announcement of the transfer remains a mystery.
According to Marca, Mbappe will not announce his move to Madrid until PSG exit the Champions League. Ideally, the French goal machine will make the big announcement on June 1, just before heading to play for France at Euro 2024. This will be done to remove all pressure and rumours surrounding his future.
Despite all the hiccups, Mbappe's goalscoring form this season has remained incredible with 39 goals in as many games, plus 8 assists.
