'Real Madrid are a long way short of Manchester City, Inter, Arsenal': Jamie Carragher

"RB Leipzig were by far the dominant team over the two legs [against Real Madrid]. The aura of Bernabeu got them through," Jamie Carragher said at full time of Real Madrid's 1-1 draw against Leipzig.

"It doesn't bode well in term of winnng the Champions League. They are a long way short of Manchester City, Inter and Arsenal. Real Madrid aren't up there among the best teams in Europe right now," the Liverpool legend added.

Yeah, Real Madrid didn't have their best game against RB Leipzig, but this doesn't mean they aren't good to win the competition. People were staying stuff like this in the 2021/22 season, but what was the outcome?

Like Carlo Ancelotti said after the game, criticism is welcome but it shouldn't be exaggerated.
