Madrid-bound Endrick names former Galactico as inspiration - it's not Cristiano Ronaldo

In a recent interview with L’Equipe, Endrick Felipe opened up on the upcoming move to Real Madrid.

"I work every day to arrive Madrid ready to help the team. The pressure? I’m used to it. It isn’t nice, but I have to deal with it."

The 17-year-old went on to reveal his role model. Unlike for his fellow Brazilians Rodrygo and Vinicius, it's not Cristiano Ronaldo.

“I am a 9 with a soul of 10. I have loved [Karim] Benzema since his years at Lyon.

"When Cristiano left, he he took things into his own hands. His style of play is very inspiring."

Endrick will head to Bernabeu in the summer of 2024 when he turns 18.
