Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw have both been regular absentees in the Man United squad through the course of the 2023/24 season.
The Frenchman has been restricted to just 19 games (in which he’s scored two goals) and Shaw has made only 15 appearances.
Both players have failed to shake off the injury bug in recent years and struggled to maintain peak fitness levels either.
Shaw has actually missed a whopping 68 matches through injury since the beginning of the 2020/21 season for the Red Devils.
Martial, on the other hand, has missed 65 games in the same period – with both averaging over 15 matches missed per season just because of injuries.
Erik ten Hag recently confirmed that the French forward could play a part for the Red Devils this season as his current contract is set to expire at the end of June.
Shaw, meanwhile, is fighting hard to be fit for the FA Cup final as he pushes to make the England squad for Euro 2024.
