Man United have been strongly linked to be interested in a possible summer transfer to sign Brentford star Ivan Toney.
Now, as per the Mirror, the Red Devils might be the ‘dark horses’ to sign the England international after this season is over.
That is because Arsenal and Chelsea have both cooled their interest in him and are looking at different options instead.
Toney caused a lot of trouble for the Red Devils in the recent 1-1 draw and proved his quality by tormenting the centre-backs.
However, Brentford has rubbished claims that they could sell him for a cut-price deal of £30m-£40m and are likely to charge much more for him.
The 28-year-old forward has scored four goals and provided one assist in 13 Premier League appearances so far this season.
