Jordan Henderson back at AXA training centre – here's why

Former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has reportedly been at the AXA training centre recently.

Henderson left Liverpool last summer to join Saudi side Al-Ettifaq, an ill-advised move that ended by the winter.

He joined Ajax in the winter but his new side has been struggling of late, sitting in 5th position in Eredivisie.

Henderson has been dealing with an injury for the past month and has done some rehabilitation work at the AXA training centre.
