Vitor Roque is expected to make the squad list for the La Liga game against Las Palmas on January 4, reports Diario Sport's Ferran Correas.
The reporter cites Barca's club sources who are convinced there should be no problem with registering the Brazilian in the coming day or two. La Liga are currently reviewing the documents provided by Blaugrana.
The Barcelona sources also assure that the 18-year-old will be registered as a new signing, not as a loanee. This will be possible due to Gavi's injury that rules him out until next season.
Vitor Roque has completed his first training sessions at Barca. He arrived at the club a few days ago after ending the season with Athletico Paranaense in which he scored 21 goals in 45 appearances. The Catalans bought him for €40m.
