'You have to do it for me, eh': One thing Pique asked Spanish FA president for leaked

In 2019, Gerard Pique called the Spanish FA president Luis Rubiales to help him get to the 2020 Olympic Games with Spain.

"You have to do this to me, huh Rubi, you have to get it for me, damn it," the Barcelona veteran told Rubiales, as per El Confidencial.

"We have to keep it in secret. (...) Let's see how we can manage it, so that it doesn't come out anywhere. This has to be a secret between the three of us [Pique, Rubiales and the Spain U21 head coach], don't you think?"

"I already told the coach about it and he knows it. (...) I would like you to be in your best form. We need you," Rubiales replied.

Interestingly, it was later revealed that Sergio Ramos also wanted to talk to Rubiales about his participation in the Olympics.

However, neither Pique nor Ramos attended the tournament since it was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
