How much Chelsea are prepared to accept for Romelu Lukaku transfer: revealed

Chelsea's desire to get Romelu Lukaku off their books is no secret.

The Belgian striker has not played for the Blues for two years but has a contract worth £325,000-a-week that runs for two more years.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are prepared to negotiate with any club prepared to pay a £38m release clause negotiated with AS Roma last summer.

Lukaku's preference would likely be staying in Italy or at least in Europe. Last summer, he rejected a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia. Now, however, his options may be limited further.
