Chelsea negotiate Romelu Lukaku move with Saudi clubs (reliability: 4 stars)

According to Belgian reporter Sacha Tavolieri, Chelsea are speaking to Saudi Pro League to find a new club for Romelu Lukaku.

The striker is unlikely to stay at Roma after the departure of Jose Mourinho. Staying at Chelsea where he is still on the books is not an option either.

Chelsea want to finally move on from Lukaku permanently, but it's unclear of even the Saudi clubs are prepared to pay €50m for the 30-year-old.

Last summer, the idea was mooted to Lukaku after proposed moves to Inter and Juventus fell through. He rejected the idea, choosing to join Roma instead. It's unclear what he thinks of such a move now.
