Another Chelsea player gets loan terminated — but not by the Blues (reliability: 5 stars)

According to French reporter Fabrice Hawkins, Diego Moreira's loan from Chelsea to Lyon has been terminated.

This time, however, the decision was not initiated by the Blues. Lyon have decided to put an end to the arrangement.

The 19-year-old has not registered a single goal contribution in seven Ligue 1 appearances.

So, Lyon have decided to upgrade the position as they target the signing of Arnaut Danjuma. Moreira has already stopped training with the French side and will return to London in the next few hours.

As Moreira featured for Chelsea in a Carabao Cup game before heading to Lyon, he won't be able to join another club on loan this season.
