Arsenal had to fight their way to win the 2023 Community Shield final 1-1 (4-1) against Man City.
They were salvaged by Leandro Trossard’s 101st-minute equalizer, before winning it in the penalty shootout.
It was a tough game for the Gunners, who were troubled by the physicality of City too.
Rodri, in particular, was extremely aggressive and rash with his challenges.
He often clattered Arsenal players with unnecessary tackles but was never booked for it.
Indeed, he made many cynical fouls but never saw a single booking. Arsenal fans were left fuming by this, as they reacted on Twitter.
