Arsenal Women lost 3-2 in the tie and 5-4 on aggregate to Wolfsburg in a thrilling semi-final of the UEFA Women's Champions League.
The Gunners were 2-1 down but equalised with just 15 minutes of regulation to play. They suffered heartbreak in the end thanks to a 119 minute strike from Bremer to send Wolfsburg into the final.
There was a silver lining for the team though, as a British record for attendance in women's football was set, with 60,063 spectators attending the match.
For some context, Arsenal Women had also hosted Wolfsburg in the UCWL semi-final 10 years ago and there were only 1,406 fans that attended. In ten years the team has gone from that to selling out the Emirates, a clear sign of growth in the women's game.
