Partey, Kolasinac & 4 more players who should be key to good October for Arsenal

Arsenal have a tough fixture list after the international break. Manchester City, Leicester and Manchester United await the Gunners in the Premier League, with two Europa League mid-week group stage games adding up to the fatigue.

Tribuna.com takes a look at players whose individual performances will determine Arsenal's results this month.

  • The captain and the leader on and off the pitch was vital to our last season's success in the FA Cup.
  • He has bagged 2 goals in 5 games this season and fans are waiting for him to find his best goalscoring form after the break.
  • The victory against the Blades proves he needs to be used as a centre-forward and we expect Arteta to let Auba lead the line.
  • Hopefully, Pierre recovers from a groin issue he picked up in the Sheffield clash.

🇧🇷 Gabriel

  • The Brazilian centre-back waltzed into the Gunners' starting XI after arriving from Lille.
  • He has been a tight, tenacious, no-nonsense defender we have been waiting for since at least Koscielny's departure.
  • Gabriel's aerial ability should be Arsenal's secret weapon during corners.

🇩🇪 Bernd Leno

  • The German remains a world-class goalie — he showed it again in the League Cup clash against Liverpool.
  • No matter how improved our backline is, Arsenal still need a reliable man between the sticks — and Bernd provides exactly that.

🇬🇭 Thomas Partey

  • The Arsenal new boy will link up with his new teammates for the first time after the international break.
  • It's probable he will take some time to settle down at the Emirates but we nevertheless expect him to become an important part of the team since day one.
  • Every Arsenal fan is aware now: no Thomas, no Partey.
  • Kieran Tierney is currently self-isolating as a Covid-19 safety measure. The Scot is likely to miss the Man City clash and will probably take some time to regain match sharpness.
  • The Tank is Arsenal's back-up option for KT, and we hope he will not be too disappointed over his failed deadline-day Bundesliga move.
  • Hopefully, Sead's quality and presence will manifest themselves against the Premier League big boys.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Bukayo Saka

  • After playing his maiden game for England, Bukayo will undoubtedly be looking forward to making an instant impact at Arsenal.
  • He has started only 2 Premier League games so far this season.
  • The Gunners certainly need his flamboyance, intelligence and unpredictability up front, especially when we face top sides such as Man City and Leicester.
