Women’s Primera division referee turned nurse: 'I'm just doign my bit to fight coronavirus'
Iragartze Fernandez, 26, works as a referee in Spanish women's top tier but now she has become a full-time nurse to help battling coronavirus crisis in Madrid. “When someone arrives with a cough and a fever, my job is to analyse their symptoms, while wearing full protective equipment,” Fernandez, who underwent five-year training in Bilbao to become a nurse, told AFP, as cited by Yahoo Sports.
