Manchester United were held to a 2-2 draw by Bournemouth in their Premier League meeting on Saturday evening.
The visitors managed to take just one point from their trip to the south coast and are still 10 points off a top-four spot.
Erik ten Hag's side improved from their last performance against the Cherries in December when they were beaten 3-0, but were unable to defeat Andoni Iraola's men once again.
Just a few players rose to the occasion, in particular Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes. Maguire was solid throughout.
He rallied the troops despite looking to be carrying an injury himself and made some important blocks. He was the experienced head that players like Willy Kambwala needed.
Fernandes had another fine outing. The midfielder was a constant threat, scoring two goals and proving why he deserves the captain's armband.
