4 Man United players accused of letting Ten Hag down - Casemiro not among

Four Man United players have been accused of letting Erik ten Hag down against Bournemouth. They are Andre Onana, Diogo Dalot, Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund

United managed a 2-2 draw at the Vitality Stadium with Bruno Fernandes on target twice. While ordinarily a draw would have been considered a fair result, the team were poor.

Express wrote on Onana: While Ten Hag's outfield players were at fault for allowing time and space, Onana should've done better for both of Bournemouth's goals this weekend.

"Dominic Solanke's low strike wasn't in the corner, but it still flew past him. The 28-year-old was then beaten at his near post for Justin Kluivert's strike".

On Dalot, the report added: "For the second Bournemouth goal especially, Dalot was positioned too far apart from Kambwala, allowing Justin Kluivert the space and time to strike. He only won five of his 13 ground duels and committed four fouls."

Rashford, meanwhile, was said to have struggled to produce anything of substance in a collectively toothless attacking outing. The Englishman completed just 79 per cent of his passes, lost possession of the ball 17 times and came out on top in just one of his nine duels

Similarly, Hojlund failed to score again, now seven matches for club and country without a goal.

"Hojlund has been the victim of poor service throughout his first season at Old Trafford, but he did little to worry the Bournemouth defence," it concluded.
