Ancelotti: 'Bayern complaints? Ok, we complain about Nacho goal, Kimmich dived'

Real Madrid defeated Bayern 2-1 in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final.

Matthijs de Ligt scored what he thought was an equaliser in the dying minutes of extra time but it was ruled out.

The linesman raised his flag and — before the defender hit the ball — the referee blew the whistle to signal offside.

Bayern were understandably unhappy with the decision, with De Ligt insinuating that referees help Madrid.

Carlo Ancelotti said after the game: “The offside episode is simple to explain. Maybe it wasn't offside, but the referee whistled (before the goal) and we stop playing. This is it.

“Bayern complained about the offside? Ok, so we complain about the cancelled goal of Nacho… because Kimmich dived.”

Real Madrid had a goal disallowed in the 69th minute as VAR review showed that Nacho fouled Joshua Kimmich during the corner which led to the goal.
