'It's based on trust': Arda Guler explains his trademark goal celebration

"It's based on trust. I believe that everything comes from Allah," Arda Guler has told KAFA Sports.

The 19-year-old usually celebrates his goals by putting his right hand on the heart while holding the index finger of his left hand up. Antonio Rudiger, who is a practicing Muslim, also often shows this gesture.

Interestingly, Arda Guler has mentioned Rudiger and Brahim among the players he spends most time with – both are Muslims who also fasted in Ramadan.

Arda Guler has scored two goals for Real Madrid so far.
