Ancelotti names TWO Real Madrid players who should be joint Ballon d'Or winners this year

Carlo Ancelotti caused a stir in his press conference when he was asked who deserves to win the Ballon d'Or this year.

“The Ballon d'Or should go to Bellingham and Vinicius,” Ancelotti said.

Carlo's answer caused an eruption of laughter from the journalists present in the room.

However, Ancelotti is only being logical — Vinicius and Bellingham have been tremendous for Real Madrid this season with 19 and 21 goals respectively.

The winner may well be decided in July when both players play in the Euros and Copa America. One player could get the edge if he fires his country to a continental title.

For now, both players must fight to help Real Madrid win La Liga and the Champions League in June.
