La Liga release VAR audio for Lunin save on Lamine after Barca threaten to demand Clasico replay

On Monday, Barcelona's president threatened that his club could ask for the game against Real Madrid to be replayed if La Liga doesn't release the VAR audio and the images of Lamine Yamal's 28th-minute effort in El Clasico that Lunin saved.

Spanish Football Federation RFEF have now released the VAR audio of the conversation after the 'ghost goal' was scored by the Barca youngster.

Here's the transcript.

💬Linesman's voice: "For me, the ball doesn't go in at all, it's a corner."

💬VAR: "Let's check Cesar, wait a little, don't let him play the corner."

💬Referee Cesar Soto Grado explains to Gundogan: "We don't have goal-line technology, we are going to wait for the VAR review. Maybe it's a goal."

💬Referee Soto Grado to the VAR: "[Camly review the situation] We are in no hurry, it is a very important decision. The best thing is to wait."

💬VAR to ref: "We don't have any evidence that the ball went in. Restart the game with a corner kick."

Multiple images have come out after the game to prove that the ball never crossed the line before Lunin cleared it into the corner.

Barca can huff and puff, but La Liga are also culpable for not having goal-line technology in the Spanish top tier.
