Barcelona president Joan Laporta is not ruling out the prospect of seeking a replay for Sunday's El Clasico. This comes as a reaction to Lamine Yamal's strike that Andriy Lunin supposedly cleared off the line, with referee Cesar Soto Grado choosing not to award Barca a goal in the absence of conclusive angles.
“We asked the RFEF to provide us with all the images and audios of Lamine’s cancelled goal," said Laporta.
“If it was a legal goal, we do not rule out asking to re-play the match. We will go further, we do not rule out anything”.
Had Yamal's strike been deemed a goal, Barcelona would've taken the 2-1 lead after 28 minutes. Eventually, they did pull ahead after the break, holding on to the marginal lead for about three minutes before Lucas Vazquez equalised.
Jude Bellingham struck late as Real Madrid recorded a third successive win over their rivals.
