On Reddit, one Real Madrid fan named PAWG_Nami claimed that Arda Guler fans are being 'delusional' about his football ability. In his opinion, the Turk has the same potential as thousand of yougsters do and has made some questionable decisions this season.
"Last week I saw lots of comments suggesting to loan him to Borussia Dortmund that is a UCL semi-finalist or Bayer Leverkusen that is fresh Bundesliga champion. If Arda was good enough to play for these clubs, wouldn't he have at least one full 90 min game this season?
"I don't respect this kid anymore because I think he is not smart. Kid prefers sitting on the bench every week to playing for Castilla. And his fans seems to be less smart than him. They think he can start for any club except Real Madrid because Carlo hates him and Turks.
"Arda will complete this season without playing a full match. Teams at Dortmund and Leverkusen level won't start this kid either. He should have played at Castilla this season. He is talented. He has potential like thousands of youngsters. Not something never seen."
This is definitely a very weird take about one of the most talented youngsters of this generation, especially coming from a Madridista.
