Earlier last week, a video from Real Madrid dressing room where Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni and Jude Bellingham were seemingly debating on who of the two players is better. The names of those were conveniently beeped out, though.
Many speculated the footballers in question are Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, since Jude and Erling played together at Borussia Dortmund back in the day, while the midfield duo are both part of the France national team and now him quite well.
The video immediately went viral on socials.
However, speaking to the press on Friday, Aurelien Tchouameni cleared the air, denying the speculations.
"We weren’t talking about Kylian Mbappe and Haaland. We were talking about [Eric] Dier and [Dayot] Upamecano. Jude was talking about Dier and I was talking about Dayot. It will sell less but it's the truth."
Well, it actually sounds rather convincing, but... we'd love to hear the lip-reader's verdict first!
