Ahead of the La Liga clash against Rayo Vallecano, Carlo Ancelotti was asked about Aurelien Tchouameni giving a pre-match talk during the Spanish Supercopa in January.
"It was an idea we had at the beginning of the season. Each player, even if he is not obliged, has to speak the day before the game. We choose one before every match – this is a custom that we established this season. I think it is good that a player can encourage his teammates," the boss replied.
This is really special. No surprise there is always some family atmosphere within the team under Carlo.
This doesn't sound like a novelty, though. Back in his Chelsea days, Ancelotti used to develop game plans together with his players, allowing them to impact the strategy and suggest tactical ideas. Carlo is fantastic at man-management, and this just serves as another proof.
