Who'll play at centre-back if Rudiger & Tchouameni miss Atletico game?

Antonio Rudiger picked up a knock against Getafe. Speaking after the game, Carlo Ancelotti expressed confidence that the German will be back in time for the Atletico game on Sunday.

Aurelien Tchouameni, who played at centre-back after Toni was taken off, is suspended — although Madrid are planning to appeal his yellow card.

"Rüdiger is a warrior and it's [unlikely ]that he won't make the game because of a little discomfort," Carletto said.

But if Tchouameni's booking is not rescinded and Rudiger fails to get match fit in two days, the Whites are in trouble. There's only one fit senior centre-back in the squad right now, Nacho. All others are injured.

As per Marca, Ferland Mendy will play at centre-back as an emergency option if Rudiger and Tchouameni miss the Atletico game.
