Real Madrid to make 'final decison' on future of 6 players in January

On January 1, Real Madrid will make their final decision on the future of six players who will be free to leave the club in the summer, according to Fernando Tavero of Diario AS.

Here are the players awaiting a decision from the club in January:

Toni Kroos. The veteran has been performing well this season and is Real Madrid's assist leader with 6.

Luka Modric. The Croatian is 38 but he's still capable of playing every three days without showing signs of fatigue.

Nacho. The captain has been making a number of errors lately. If Madrid signs a new centre-back he will be on his way out.

Joselu. The striker's one-year loan deal has gone well so far with 8 goals despite starting only 10 games.

Kepa. The goalie is in the same shoe as Joselu but he hasn't really convinced everyone so far.

Lucas Vazquez. The forward-turned-right-back has been impressive lately and capped it with a match-winner against Alaves.

For players over the age of 30, they can't hope for an extension beyond a year based on the club's policy.
