Benzema firing on all cylinders but Al Ittihad are only 6th in the league and out of Club World Cup

Karim Benzema's numbers haven't dropped since his move from Real Madrid to Al Ittihad. The Frenchman has registered 12 goals and four assists in 19 games.

However, things aren't as good for Al Ittihad. Although Benzema keeps firing on all cylinders, the team results aren't even close to his own.

Al Ittihad are sixth in the table, they are trailing league leaders Al Hilal by a shocking 22 points.

Moreover, the Saudi side were eliminated early in the Club World Cup. They lost 3-1 to Al Ahli and, quite unsurprisingly, it was Karim Benzema who scored Al Ittihad's only goal.

By the way, Benzema is the first player to score in six FIFA Club World Cup tournaments.
