Real Betis fans boo one Real Madrid player — not Jude

The game against Real Betis wasn't a happy one for Real Madrid players. But it was particularly painful for Dani Ceballos.

Not only because he was one of the worst players on the pitch for the Whites. The Spaniard was booed constantly throughout the game, getting jeered whenever he received the ball, Relevo say.

The reason behind the Betis booing Ceballos is that he used to play for them. An Andalusia native, the midfielder rose through the academy ranks at Betis and spent three years there before joining Madrid in 2017.

This summer, when the 27-year-old's contract with the Whites was expiring, there were talks about Dani returning to Betis. But he ended up staying at Madrid, penning a new deal until 2027.
